Hi everyone. It has been WAY too long. I wanted to show a few pictures of our 2009 year. It was a good one. the kids keep us busy but we were able to fit in lots of fun times. We had a great summer filled with Star Valley trips and swimming and golfing. We went to Disneyland again. (thanks to the girls being able to take part in the Mainstreet Christmas parade through their dance company) We went to vegas and had a great time. We also had a wonderful month of December. Alex had the whole month off so we crammed in all the Christmas spirit we could. Jax not only began crawling this year, but he also started walking. He is unstoppable now and gets into everything he possibly can. He gets to go to preschool twice a week and they love him there. Emery started first grade and is so smart and sweet. She is the best friend to Jaxon, always watching him and helping him. Haley is in 5th grade and has been participating in extra school activities like Chorus and the Refugee Club. She also started playing the flute. Kiley is in 8th grade and made the Honor roll. She is growing up so fast. We caved and let her get a cell phone. Man I feel old.
Life is good and I feel so blessed.

Hello Summer...
Wow! it has been so long. Kids are now out of school and we have a fun summer to look forward to. We have already been to Vegas. That was a lot of fun. We will be doing the Star Valley thing several times this summer starting this weekend. Yay. Kiley goes to Young Womens camp tomorow and Haley will be doing Mill Hollow camp next week.
I will try to keep this a little more current for the maybe one other person who looks at it, but for right now, this is all.
I made this photo slider for Father's day. It's a bit long, but kind of fun.

It has been a while since I last posted. Life is good. Kiley just turned 13 a week ago. I can't believe how time has gone by. I feel like it was yesterday when she was Little like Jax. (of course she was probably only 7 or 8 months instead of 18) I am going to post some pictures of her soon. She is a beautiful girl. She is doing well in school and all of the girls are in dance right now. They have a few performances coming up. That will be fun. In November we get to go to Disneyland and they are going to dance in the parade that will air Christmas morning(?) We are all excited for that. Jax is doing well. He is growing and learning. We are working on getting him to walk now. He walks well along furniture and he is starting to stand by himself a little. I just feel so blessed right now. It is spring and the beautiful flowers are popping out, the birds are chirpping and it is becoming the time of year I love. We have already been to the zoo a few times lately and the park once. Jax loved the swing. I am excited for all that spring and summer have to offer.

Introducing the 3rd place winner.......
We had a lot of fun last night at the Jazz game. Jaxon had the opportunity to be in the 1/2 time show. It was a diaper derby. (crawling contest) There were 10 kids total. He won a 100$ savings bond and a 25$ gift certificate. We got to hang out with the Jazz dancers and the Jazz bear. I put black leg warmers with flames on them trying to strike fear into the competition. (Alex was not too thrilled about putting leg warmers on, but they are very manly) I coaxed Jax along with a tube of mini M&M's. I'm curious to know what the other 2 used for motivation. I might demand a steroid test. It was a fun night and we are proud of our little man.

This year so far...
Well, I feel like I don't have a lot to write about right now. Things have been pretty good around here. Jax is an old pro at crawling and getting around. He pulls him self up to the furniture now. His only word is still Hi and we am trying to get him to learn a few more. I am going to try some signs and see if he catches onto those. He is a sweetie. He is doing so good sleeping at night now. (knock on wood) Alex hurt his ankle at basketball 2 weeks ago. He has been hobbling through the house and had to go back to work 2 days ago. Poor guy! The girls are all doing well. I am looking forward to spring and a little warm weather. Maybe tomorrow we will get some good news from the groundhog.

Happy New Year!
Well, there we go. Another year has begun. What will we make of this year? All I can hope is that we are healthy and happy and create some fun memories a long the way. 2008 was a good year. I've blogged most of the highlights. Star Valley, Disneyland, Pineview, Kindergarten, Jr. High, etc. Recently Jax had another visit with his cardiologist and for now, everything looks and sounds good. Yay! Also, I need to add that on New Years Eve, Jax started crawling. What a big boy! He's such a sweetie and has blessed our family so greatly. All of our children have. They all have wonderful and fun qualities and although life gets crazy with 4 children, They are also what makes it all worth it. So, here's to another great year to come!

Lindsey's Time of Year!
I again want to thank Lindsey for keeping up on our blog. I really do appreciate the hard work she puts into the great video clips, pics, etc. For anyone that knows Lindsey, this is her favorite time of year. She loves the Christmas season and loves to share it with her friends and family. She works so hard to make it special for the kids. I hope someday they will understand their Mother's incredible sacrifice to stay at home and be a Mother, among many other things, to them. She has blessed our family immensely! Thanks Honey, for all that you do and Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas is coming
Well, Disneyland is over and we are on to Christmas. This is such a great time of year. We are already starting to do some fun things. we try to have a small activity every day. We have already watched The Grinch and written letters to Santa. Tomorrow Emery will dance at the Festival of Trees and then Kiley and I are volunteering there after. It's a wonderful magical time. I'm excited to have some good family fun and spend some time with my hubby. He has a couple of weeks off. YAY!

Disneyland
Well, we had another successful Disney Vacation. Unfortunately for Alex we may never get tired of going there. It really is the happiest place on Earth. There is something magical about seeing your kids experience all the fun it has to offer. Jax was a pretty good boy. (as long as you kept him eating) We had lots of fun. It's not a peaceful and relaxing trip but it is a good time. Thank you Alex! It is always sad when we have to leave, but it is nice to be back home. We get to enjoy a fun Christmas season with each other and I am grateful for that. Here is to next October! (Wink, Wink)
